Frontera begins electrification project in Diana Laura neighborhood
The municipality of Frontera, Coahuila, has initiated electrification works in the Diana Laura neighborhood, addressing a community demand that remained unfulfilled for over 20 years. Mayor Sari Pérez Cantú met with residents to establish a Pro-Work Committee to oversee the project.
The infrastructure project, detailed by Public Works Councilor Orlando Hipólito Plaza, will take place on Juan de la Barrera and Jesús Solís streets. It includes the installation of electrical wiring, mufas, and modern public lighting to improve safety and living conditions. The municipal government will fund the entire infrastructure cost, directly benefiting 36 families and indirectly impacting more than 150 people.
To facilitate the transition, the municipality will issue support letters to help residents expedite their individual service contracts with the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE).
