Frontera launches free vocational courses to boost entrepreneurship
In Frontera, Coahuila, Mayor Sara Irma Pérez Cantú has launched new free vocational training courses to promote entrepreneurship and improve family incomes. In coordination with the State Government and the Institute for Work Training of the State of Coahuila (Icatec), the municipality has introduced workshops in Gastronomy and Barbering.
The Gastronomy course is being held in the Héroe de Nacozari neighborhood, while the Barbering workshop is taking place at the Icatec Frontera facilities. Each program consists of 30 hours of training spread over approximately one and a half months, with two sessions per week. These initiatives are funded through a 50-50 collaboration agreement between the State Government and the Municipality of Frontera.
