Frontier Airlines flight attendant filmed filling water bottles from plane tank

A video recorded by a passenger on a Frontier Airlines flight has gone viral, showing a flight attendant filling Crystal Geyser water bottles using the aircraft's onboard water tank.

The incident reportedly occurred on September 25, 2026, during flight F92342 traveling from Los Angeles (LAX) to Denver (DEN). The footage shows the attendant filling large bottles from the plane's tank, leading to concerns regarding water quality and whether the water was being presented as bottled water for passenger consumption.

While aircraft tank water is used for coffee and tea services, it is often not considered safe for direct drinking without being heated to kill bacteria. The video has raised questions regarding Frontier Airlines' official policies concerning the use of plane tank water for bottled beverage services.
