Frontier Airlines flight attendant restrains passenger at Atlanta airport

A Frontier Airlines flight attendant physically restrained a passenger during a chaotic incident at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday night. The confrontation occurred on Flight 2052, an Airbus A321 traveling from New Orleans, after a malfunctioning jet bridge prevented passengers from deplaning.

According to passenger video and social media reports, the aircraft's engines and lights were shut off upon arrival, leaving passengers in a dark, hot cabin without air conditioning for approximately one hour. The lack of ventilation reportedly led to passenger panic, with one witness claiming a woman became unresponsive due to the conditions.

A 13-second video clip shows a woman in a gray hoodie screaming at the crew to open the exit door while a flight attendant wraps his arms around her to push her back. Other passengers in the video can be heard shouting for the crew member not to put his hands on the woman as he attempted to regain control of the situation.
