Frontier Developments announces Planet Coaster 2: Silver Screen Pack

Frontier Developments has announced the ‘Silver Screen Pack’, a new DLC for Planet Coaster 2 scheduled for release on August 19, 2026. The expansion is designed to bring a Hollywood-inspired, golden era of cinema aesthetic to the theme park building simulator.

The pack includes over 650 new decoration elements, more than 100 animatronics, and seven new rides, such as a classic cinema and a studio tour. The content features Art Deco-inspired skyscrapers, film sets, and cinematic backdrops to help players create studio-themed environments. Additionally, the expansion provides new vehicles, ambient sounds, and nine cinema-inspired music tracks.

Alongside the paid expansion, Frontier will release a free Update 11 on the same day, which will introduce various new functions and improvements to the base game. The Silver Screen Pack will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
