Frontline mission festival aims to engage Norwegian youth

The Frontline mission festival, organized by Misjonssambandet, is designed to help young people and young adults explore the concept of mission in a modern context. Festival director Ingvild Jåtun states that the goal is to provide a space for participants to grow in their missionary engagement and find their place within the global mission.

According to Jåtun, mission can manifest as traveling abroad or acting as a witness to faith among peers, colleagues, and neighbors. The event will feature preaching, seminars, testimonies, and social activities such as a mission bazaar and a silent disco to foster community. Jåtun notes that while the current generation may approach mission differently than previous ones, they remain focused on living meaningful lives through relationships, care, and justice.
