Frosinone announces national literary prize as Abruzzo podcast returns
The municipality of Frosinone has approved the launch of the “Camilla, Regina dei Volsci” national literary prize. Dedicated to unpublished short stories and poetry, the initiative aims to promote reading, writing, and emerging literary talent. The project, led by the Culture Department in collaboration with the association “La Compagnia dei Perdenti,” will feature a jury of experts to select winners, with an award ceremony to be held at the municipal villa. The prize name honors the legendary Queen of the Volsci to strengthen local historical identity.
In a separate cultural development, the fourth season of the podcast and docuseries “Di chi si lu fije” is set to debut on September 24. The first episode will focus on Montesilvano, exploring the region's medieval history, the tradition of the Coppa Acerbo automobile race, and local culinary customs. Created by Marco Lagonigro, the project aims to preserve and narrate the traditions of Abruzzo and Molise through digital storytelling and historical reenactments.
