Frosinone authorities approve temporary road use for stadium traffic

The Province of Frosinone has authorized the temporary use of a new road to improve traffic flow and safety for fans attending Frosinone Calcio matches at the Benito Stirpe stadium. Following a request from Frosinone Mayor Riccardo Mastrangeli, Provincial President Luca Di Stefano signed a decree allowing the use of a 237-meter connection between Viale Olimpia and Via Michelangelo.

The road was constructed as part of a new school hub project in Casaleno, funded by the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan). Although the road is not yet open for regular traffic as it awaits final testing, it will be utilized specifically on match days to prevent dangerous congestion.

The authorization is not a permanent opening. Municipal technical offices must verify the road's usability on a match-by-match basis, and the Municipality of Frosinone will be responsible for managing schedules, traffic direction, signage, and operational flow.
