Frosinone City Council seeks to fill vacant Presidency

Marco Ferrara, acting President of the Frosinone City Council, has officially convened a meeting of the Group Leaders for September 25. The primary objective of this meeting is to address the vacancy of the Council President, a position that has remained unfilled for over four months following the resignation of Massimiliano Tagliaferri.

The agenda also includes the recognition of an off-balance sheet debt concerning social security, insurance, and regional tax (Irap) obligations related to unused vacation pay. This financial matter required legal clarification from the Frosinone Court and the Rome Court of Appeal.

Despite the summons, the election of a new President, vice-presidents, and secretaries may face challenges, as current indications suggest that the necessary 17 votes required for a successful election may not yet be secured.
