Frosinone law enforcement reports festival disturbances and fraud

Law enforcement agencies in the province of Frosinone, including the Carabinieri and Polizia di Stato, have reported several incidents over a 36-hour period.

In Sgurgola, during the 71st Festa dell’Uva, Carabinieri intervened following reports of disruptive behavior. Four men, aged 20 to 33, were sanctioned for public intoxication and ordered to leave the festival area for 48 hours to restore order.

In Alatri, authorities are investigating a fraud targeting the elderly. An 80-year-old woman was contacted by a man posing as a Carabinieri marshal, who claimed that gold items needed to be prepared for verification following a theft.
