Frosinone province launches new social welfare and civil service initiatives

New social welfare and community service initiatives are being launched in the Frosinone province of Italy. In Ferentino and Fumone, the Universal Civil Service has commenced two specific projects under the ‘Tutti Inclusi’ program: ‘Spuntini di Socialità’ and ‘BiblioLab’.

The ‘Spuntini di Socialità’ project will deploy twelve volunteers to the social services offices and the Archaeological Museum of Ferentino to assist with citizen orientation, support families and students, and combat isolation among the elderly and vulnerable populations. Simultaneously, the ‘BiblioLab’ project will utilize ten volunteers across the municipal libraries of Ferentino and Fumone to promote reading and literacy.

In Frosinone, the municipality is organizing ‘DIREZIONE Wel_FARE’, an Open Day for local welfare services scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Parco Matusa. The initiative aims to bridge the ‘information gap’ by bringing social services directly to the public. The event is designed to help families, caregivers, and vulnerable individuals navigate bureaucratic procedures and access available support through direct contact with institutions and third-sector entities.
