Frosinone rejects Celtic and Rangers bids for winger Farès Ghedjemis

Frosinone Calcio has turned down transfer offers for Algerian winger Farès Ghedjemis from both Celtic FC and Rangers FC. Celtic’s initial bid was reported at around £6 million, while Rangers later submitted a higher offer of roughly €8‑10 million, both of which were rejected as the Italian club aims to retain the player for its Serie A campaign.

Ghedjemis, who scored 15 goals and provided three assists in the 2024‑25 season, was instrumental in Frosinone’s promotion from Serie B to Serie A and has earned a place in Algeria’s squad for the 2026 World Cup. The bidding competition has driven his market valuation up to between £8 million and €15 million, with additional interest reported from AS Monaco and other European clubs.

Frosinone’s management indicated that the club will continue to negotiate from a position of strength, seeking a fee that reflects the player’s recent performances and future potential, while the interested clubs remain eager to secure his services.
