Frost advisories issued for parts of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania
A frost advisory has been issued for several regions in the Northeastern United States, effective from early Monday morning through 9:00 AM EDT.
In New York, frost is expected in Monroe, Wayne, and northern Cayuga counties, with temperatures dropping into the upper 30s and low 40s. In the Mid-Atlantic, advisories cover portions of central, northern, and northwest New Jersey, as well as east central and southeast Pennsylvania. Temperatures in these areas may fall as low as 35 degrees.
Authorities warn that the frost could harm or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation. Residents are advised to take precautions to protect tender plants from the cold.
