Fruška Walk & Wine 2026 opens in Sremski Karlovci

Nenad Ivanišević, the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, has officially opened the ‘Fruška Walk & Wine 2026’ event in Sremski Karlovci. The initiative aims to integrate the wine traditions of Fruška Gora with the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region.

During the opening, Ivanišević noted that tourism indicators in the region are showing consistent growth. He highlighted the success of previous events, such as ‘Grožđebal’, and expressed hope that wine walks would become a regular part of the local tourism offering.

Dražen Đurđić, President of the Sremski Karlovci Municipality, emphasized that Fruška Gora is one of Serbia’s most significant wine regions, home to over 135 wineries producing more than 1,300 labels. The event features a circular walking route with six tasting stations where 18 local wineries present their products alongside local specialties and music.
