Fårup Sommerland to invest millions in new treehouse cabins
Fårup Sommerland is investing a double-digit million amount to expand its accommodation capacity by adding ten new treehouse cabins at Hotel Fårup. This expansion will increase the total number of treehouse units from two to twelve.
The project will be completed in two stages: the first five cabins are expected to be ready for the 2027 season, followed by the remaining five in 2028. The investment aims to meet high demand for overnight stays and encourage families to extend their visits to the amusement park.
According to CEO Niels Jørgen Jensen, the expansion is part of a strategy to develop the park into a comprehensive experience destination. Accommodation manager Louise Bager noted the popularity of the existing treehouses, where guests can start their day by sliding down a waterslide directly from the cabins.
