Frutigen wrestlers secure nine awards at Buebeschwinget

At the traditional Buebeschwinget in Boltigen, 281 young wrestlers competed in the Simmental region. This event served as one of the final youth competitions of the season in the Berner Oberland.

Local competitors from the Frutigen region secured nine awards (Zweige). Notable performances included Tobias Mürner, who achieved sixth place in the 2016–2018 age category, and Oliver Lüthi, who placed eighth. In the 2014/2015 category, Lars Lauener and Dario Schmid both earned awards. For the 2012/2013 age group, Lukas Streun, Martin Zurbrügg, and Mario Grossen also secured awards through various competitive rounds.
