Fryzza startup develops air fryer-optimized frozen pizzas

The startup Fryzza is launching a line of frozen pizzas specifically designed for air fryers. Unlike traditional round frozen pizzas that often do not fit in air fryer baskets, Fryzza products are rectangular and small, optimized for a quick cooking time of approximately five to six minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.

The company’s team, which includes chef Alexander Wulf, presenter Dieter Könnes, and sommelier Ronny Schreiber, is seeking 350,000 euros for a 10 percent stake in the company. The pizzas feature a sourdough base that undergoes a 24-hour ripening process and is pre-baked in a stone oven. Available varieties include Margherita, Salami (using halal-quality turkey and beef), Tuna, and Veggie.
