FSB accuses UK of using puppet organizations to threaten Russian security

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has accused the United Kingdom of attempting to destabilize Russia by utilizing puppet organizations within the Russian diaspora. An FSB operational officer stated that London is trying to create an illusion of an alternative power center among Russian emigrants to undermine Moscow's authority.

As part of this crackdown, the FSB has opened a criminal case against Ksenia Maksimova, the founder of the Russian Democratic Society UK (RDS). The agency alleges that the RDS serves as a platform for individuals planning a violent seizure of power and a forced change to Russia's constitutional order. The FSB claims the organization has been used to organize activities among Russian citizens relocated to the UK.
