FSSAI updates food testing lab list as Indian institutes announce research recruitment

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has updated its list of notified food testing laboratories. The amendment removes Vimta Labs Limited in Gujarat and adds four new facilities in Maharashtra, Kerala, and West Bengal. The new additions include Green Envirosafe Engineers & Consultant Private Limited in Pune, Envirodesigns Eco Labs Private Limited in Kochi, and two laboratories in West Bengal: the National Test House in Kolkata and the Regional Food Testing Laboratory in Siliguri.

Concurrently, several Indian academic and medical institutions have announced recruitment drives for research and technical roles.

IIT Kharagpur is seeking applicants for Project Research Associate and Senior Project Associate positions within its Department of Mathematics for a project focused on post-quantum cryptographic primitives. AIIMS Nagpur is recruiting for a Project Technical Support III role related to lung cancer cell research. Additionally, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has opened applications for a Senior Project Associate position.
