Fátima to host national scout pilgrimage in 2026

The Corpo Nacional de Escutas (CNE) is organizing a national pilgrimage to Fátima on September 26 and 27, 2026. Approximately 11,000 scouts from across Portugal are expected to attend the event, which marks the first national-scale gathering of the organization since 2016.

Under the theme ‘Sentes-te ca’PAZ?’, the two-day event focuses on peace as a daily practice built through dialogue, respect, and the acceptance of differences. The program includes prayer, walking, and community activities designed to encourage participants to reflect on their role in building a more peaceful world through daily gestures and social connection.
