FTV Prima launches new Prima sport television channel

FTV Prima has launched Prima sport, a new television channel built upon the foundations of the existing Sporty TV. The station aims to become a popular sports destination by offering a mix of domestic and international competitions, live broadcasts, original programming, and expert commentary.

The channel's lineup includes the Chance Národní Liga (football), Maxa liga (ice hockey), Livesport Superliga (floorball), and the Beach Pro Tour (beach volleyball). It will also feature European and Conference League qualifying matches and ZVVZ USK Praha basketball games.

In the Czech Republic, the channel is available for free via terrestrial DVB-T2 broadcasting, though it is limited to SD quality over the antenna; HD quality is available through paid operators. Some viewers in western and northern Slovakia may also be able to receive the signal due to the reach of Czech transmitters, although the channel is not officially offered by Slovak television operators.
