Fuat Oktay Organized Industrial Zone begins production in Yozgat
Production has commenced at the Fuat Oktay Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) in the Boğazlıyan district of Yozgat. The industrial zone, established under the ‘Local Development’ model proposed by former Vice President Fuat Oktay, aims to provide employment for 7,000 people once it reaches full capacity.
Currently, five companies have completed construction and begun production, employing approximately 300 workers. An additional four companies are in the establishment phase, while 16 others are undergoing construction. The zone is expected to expand from its initial 1,070 decares to 3,290 decares following increased demand. Yozgat Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan noted that the region's geographic location and transportation infrastructure provide significant advantages for investors.
