Fuego celebrates 50th birthday by returning to family roots

Romanian singer Paul Ciprian Surugiu, known professionally as Fuego, recently celebrated his 50th birthday by returning to his roots in Turda to spend time with his family.

Surugiu shared rare archival photos with his mother and grandmother, expressing gratitude for the people who shaped him. He noted that during his early years, he was raised by his grandmother from Botoșani while his parents worked to provide for his future. The artist also reflected on his family heritage, mentioning that his grandfather was a war hero who fought at Mărășești-Oituz.

In a social media message, the singer emphasized his desire to celebrate the milestone simply as ‘Cipi’ rather than as a public figure, surrounded by childhood friends, relatives, and teachers.
