Tierra del Fuego celebrates Youth Month with province-wide activities

The Secretariat of Youth Policies of the Ministry of Citizen Wellbeing and Justice organized a diverse agenda for ‘Mes de las Juventudes’ (Youth Month) across Ushuaia, Tolhuin, and Río Grande in Tierra del Fuego.

Key activities included the Mercosur Youth Parliament, which brought together over 100 young people and teachers for civic debate. Cultural events featured ‘Fuego Geek,’ a gathering for anime, cosplay, and K-pop enthusiasts that hosted 22 local entrepreneurs and over 300 attendees. Other programming included a Spring Ball for 400 participants, more than 12 vocational workshops and seminars, and a solidarity initiative in Tolhuin providing hair services.

Secretary Ivana Olariaga emphasized the importance of territorial public policies to foster participation and development among the province's youth.
