Fuel price discounts roll out in Peru and Chile

In the northern part of Arequipa, Peru, gasoline prices have fallen, with regular unleaded reaching as low as S/16.80 per gallon and premium at S/18.50, while diesel stays near S/18.90. The reductions are linked to international market easing, temporary government measures to flex fuel inventories, and logistical challenges such as recent port disruptions and operating limits at the Talara refinery.

In Chile, fuel retailer Copec announced a one‑day promotion on Monday, 15 June, offering a discount of 100 pesos per litre on 93, 95 and 97‑octane gasoline. The price cut applies automatically at checkout in 32 communes across the country, from Tarapacá to Magallanes, without any registration requirement and can be combined with other promotions.
