Fuel prices decrease across several Balkan nations

Several Balkan and Southeast European nations have implemented or announced changes to regulated fuel prices.

In Croatia, the government has transitioned from bi-weekly to weekly fuel price regulations to respond more rapidly to market volatility. This change has resulted in price decreases for gasoline, diesel, and LPG.

Slovenia has also seen significant reductions in regulated prices for 95-octane gasoline, diesel, and heating oil, aimed at mitigating the impact of energy costs caused by Middle East conflicts.

In North Macedonia, the Regulatory Commission for Energy, Water and Utility Services has issued a decision to lower retail prices for petroleum derivatives by an average of 5.81%, including reductions for gasoline, diesel, and heating oil.

In Romania, fuel prices remain subject to market pressures and regional tensions, with some reports indicating rising costs for gasoline and diesel due to supply disruptions and geopolitical risks in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
