Fuel prices drop in Italy as Conad and Staroil implement lower rates

Fuel prices in Italy are seeing a downward trend as various operators implement price caps and competitive rates. In Grosseto, Conad stations are applying capped prices following an agreement with wholesale supplier Eni. At these locations, gasoline is set at 1.99 euros per liter and diesel at 2.19 euros per liter. Customers using a Conad Card can receive an additional discount of one cent per liter, bringing gasoline down to 1.98 euros and diesel to 2.18 euros.

Independent operators are also participating in the price competition. Staroil, a brand under the Ludoil Group, has introduced rates of 1.979 euros for gasoline and 2.179 euros for diesel. These prices sit slightly below the maximum caps set by major national players like Eni, which are positioned at 1.999 euros for gasoline and 2.199 euros for diesel.
