Fuel prices in Abruzzo: Pescara leads in lowest costs

An analysis of fuel prices in the Abruzzo region of Italy reveals varying costs for gasoline and diesel across its provinces. Despite the end of excise duty discounts and recent price increases, a significant number of distributors continue to offer fuel below certain thresholds.

In Pescara, consumers find the most competitive prices. Approximately 38% of analyzed diesel distributors maintain prices below 2.20 euros per liter, and 83% of gasoline stations offer prices under 2 euros per liter. Teramo follows as the second most affordable province for both fuel types.

In contrast, L’Aquila has the highest diesel prices, with only 23% of distributors offering diesel below the 2.20 euro mark. Chieti recorded the highest prices for gasoline, with 64% of stations selling below 2 euros per liter.

Regional averages for self-service fuel are 2.025 euros per liter for gasoline and 2.254 euros per liter for diesel, according to data from the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
