Fuel price data for late August 2026 shows varying retail costs across Greece and Cyprus. In Greece, average prices for Unleaded 95 gasoline and Diesel fluctuate by region, with the national average for Unleaded 95 sitting near €2.04 and Diesel near €2.05. Regional variations are notable, with the Cyclades recording some of the highest prices, such as €2.27 for Unleaded 95.

In Cyprus, the Consumer Protection Service reported that retail fuel price increases were lower than the average seen across the 27 EU member states. Specifically, the price of Unleaded 95 gasoline in Cyprus rose by 27 cents per liter, which was 2 cents lower than the EU-27 average. Diesel prices in Cyprus also saw an increase of 36 cents per liter, which was 8 cents lower than the EU-27 average of 44 cents.
