Fuel prices rise in Pakistan and Nigeria amid crude oil volatility

Fuel prices are rising in Pakistan and Nigeria amid global energy market volatility. In Pakistan, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has implemented a strategy of daily price adjustments for petrol and diesel to mitigate economic impacts from global supply disruptions. Recent revisions show an increase in Motor Spirit (MS) and High Speed Diesel (HSD) prices.

In Nigeria, the Dangote Refinery has reportedly increased its nationwide gantry price for diesel (Automotive Gas Oil) by N100 per litre, bringing the cost to N1,670 per litre. This adjustment follows a rise in crude oil prices, with Brent crude surpassing $94 per barrel. While diesel prices have risen, the refinery's gantry price for petrol remained unchanged at N1,165 per litre at the time of reporting.
