Fuengirola launches employment training courses via EnRuta program

The Fuengirola City Council has launched two new training courses as part of the EnRuta program to improve employability and labor market insertion for unemployed individuals. The courses, which focus on kitchen assistance and tourism establishment reception, each consist of 310 hours, including 150 hours of professional internships in companies.

Promoted by the Málaga Provincial Council and funded by the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+), the initiative targets those facing significant barriers to employment. Priority groups include the long-term unemployed, individuals over 45, people with a recognized disability of 33% or higher, foreign nationals, and those in proven socioeconomic vulnerability.

Applicants must be unemployed, registered as job seekers, and residents of a municipality within the province of Málaga (excluding Málaga city and Vélez-Málaga, which have independent projects). Financial grants are available for participants whose income is below 75% of the IPREM. The application deadline is September 10.
