Guadalajara concludes Ferias y Fiestas 2026 with massive final bull run

The Ferias y Fiestas 2026 in Guadalajara have concluded following a week of intense celebrations. The festivities featured a variety of events, including traditional parades with local peñas and charangas, and youth-oriented bullfighting activities such as the Mini Encierro Infantil and the Concurso de Recortes Infantil.

The final day of the traditional bull runs (encierros) saw a massive turnout, with more than 2,000 runners participating in the fifth and last race. This final run featured bulls from the Juan Pedro Domecq ranch. While the event was largely successful, medical services reported two minor injuries due to falls and a trampling, though authorities confirmed these were not serious.

Mayor Ana Guarinos praised the community's involvement, describing the celebrations as “unas fiestas de diez” (a ten out of ten). She extended her gratitude to the security forces, volunteers, and municipal staff for ensuring a safe and organized event.
