Fuerteventura hosts 37th International La Oliva Rally

The 37th International La Oliva Rally, subtitled ‘Tierra Blanca en Oliva’, has concluded in Fuerteventura, marking a significant milestone for the island’s motorsport calendar. The Cabildo de Fuerteventura reported the event was a success, specifically praising spectators for following safety guidelines and respecting natural spaces.

The competition also served as the final round for the Las Palmas Provincial Dirt Rally Championship. Borja Pérez, driving a Skoda Canarias, entered the event with a nine-point lead over Gustavo Sosa. Other competitors with mathematical chances for the title included 17-year-old Bruno Betancor and Yeray Lemes. The event featured international talent, including French driver Yohan Rossel of Lancia Corse.
