Fuerza del Pueblo strengthens political and environmental structures

The Fuerza del Pueblo (FP) political party in the Dominican Republic is conducting organizational activities to strengthen its structures ahead of the 2028 elections. In Barahona, the provincial leadership held meetings with executive structures and representatives from the teaching, health, and youth sectors to evaluate organizational progress and community contact.

Nationally, the party’s Environmental Secretariat held a National Political Motivation Assembly in Santo Domingo. During the event, more than 60 thematic and territorial vice-secretaries were accredited. The secretariat currently maintains a structure of 79 vice-secretaries across all 32 provinces and the National District, supported by over 25 specialized teams focused on natural resources and sustainable development.

The assembly, led by General Secretary Antonio Florián and Environmental Secretary Paíno Abreu Collado, aimed to integrate teams and establish lines of action for technical political opposition. Additionally, Haivanjoe Ng Cortiñas, head of the Economic Affairs Secretariat, provided training on effective political opposition through specialized sectoral structures.
