Fuerza Regida earns MTV VMA nominations and announces Mexico City tour dates

The California-based group Fuerza Regida has received multiple nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. The group is nominated for Best Latin for their track ‘TU SANCHO’, competing against artists such as Bad Bunny, Karol G, and Shakira. They are also nominated for Best Group in the social media categories. This marks a significant moment for the regional Mexican and ‘corridos tumbados’ genres, as no representative from the genre has previously won the Best Latin category at the VMAs.

In addition to their award recognition, the group has announced upcoming dates for their ‘This Is Our Dream Tour’. Fuerza Regida is scheduled to perform two concerts at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on February 3 and February 5, 2027. Pre-sale tickets for the Mexico City shows are expected to begin on October 1 via Ticketmaster Mexico.
