Multiple traffic accidents across Brazil and Bolivia injure and kill several people

In Rio Branco, Acre, a 24‑year‑old man identified as Maycon Gama da Silva, who was wanted on a criminal‑organization warrant, was injured in a head‑on collision with a Ford Fiesta while riding a Yamaha Fazer 250. He and his passenger were taken to hospital, treated and, after medical release, Maycon will be transferred to a state prison.

In Itaituba, Pará, a man and a child were injured at a crossing on 17th Street after a vehicle left the scene. The man suffered leg pain and the child had minor abrasions; both were taken to Hospital Regional do Tapajós. Local fire officials warned drivers about alcohol‑related risks during football celebrations.

In Cobija, Bolivia, a Brazilian man was fatally stabbed by his partner during a nighttime dispute. The wound to his right thigh severed the femoral artery, causing rapid blood loss. He died shortly after emergency care at Hospital Roberto Galindo Terán, and authorities are searching for the suspect.

In Santarém, Pará, a couple from São Paulo were crushed to death when a truck collided with a ferry during a docking maneuver at the Uruará port. Police and fire services responded, the ferry driver was detained, and an investigation was opened.
