Fugro nominates Emiel Jongerius as incoming CFO

Fugro NV has nominated Emiel Jongerius to join its Board of Management as Chief Financial Officer, effective November 16, 2026. The appointment, which is intended to last until the 2031 Annual General Meeting, will be submitted to shareholders for approval at an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for October 28, 2026.

Jongerius succeeds Barbara Geelen, who is set to step down from the CFO role at the Annual General Meeting on April 23, 2026. Jongerius brings 25 years of financial leadership experience from global organizations, including senior roles at Royal Philips, Signify, AkzoNobel, and most recently, leading finance at Just Eat Takeaway.

His expertise spans financial control, enterprise planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and operational strategy. Ron Mobed, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, stated that Jongerius’s experience will be instrumental in strengthening the company’s financial foundations and supporting long-term strategy execution.
