Fužine to renovate fire station with 300,000 euro energy project

The Municipality of Fužine has received approval from the Croatian government to secure a loan for the comprehensive energy renovation of the local fire station building. The municipality will take out a loan of approximately 297,000 euros from the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR).

The project includes installing a new thermal envelope, modern heating systems using heat pumps, solar panels for electricity production, and the replacement of old windows and lighting. The renovation is intended to modernize the facility and reduce long-term energy costs. The loan features a 15-year repayment period with a subsidized interest rate of 2.15 percent.
