Fuji TV announces Honkowa Autumn Special 2026 horror lineup

Fuji TV has announced the Autumn Special 2026 edition of its horror anthology series, Honkowa (Honto ni Atta Kowai Hanashi), scheduled to air on October 31, 2026. The broadcast features one new episode titled “Rinjin” (The Neighbor), starring Nogizaka46 member Nagisa Inoue, alongside six classic episodes from the show’s history.

Club leader Goro Inagaki commented on the upcoming special, noting that the new episode “Rinjin” provides a creeping sense of dread rather than sudden shocks. The program will include past notable works such as “Shinya no Kyozou” starring Ryunosuke Kamiki and “Kyoon no Sasoi” starring Kanna Hashimoto.

The special marks the first autumn edition of the series since 2021, aiming to provide a variety of horror experiences ranging from intense scares to more sentimental stories.
