Fujifilm announces Instax mini Evo 2 hybrid instant camera
Fujifilm has unveiled the Instax mini Evo 2, the second generation of its hybrid instant camera. The new model introduces the first touchscreen to the Instax range, featuring a 4.46 inch LCD display with 1.23 million points. This allows users to adjust settings like flash directly and swipe through captured frames.
Technical upgrades include a larger 1/2.77 inch sensor that increases resolution to 13 megapixels when using a microSD card, compared to the 6 megapixels of the previous model. The lens has also been widened to a 21mm equivalent. The camera retains its signature physical dials for lens and film effects, offering 100 possible combinations.
New features include an Expanded View mode to track moving subjects and an Immersive Movie function that records a five second vertical video around each shot. Connectivity has been improved with Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi support. The device is expected to launch in late November with a price of approximately 269.99 euros in France.
