Fujifilm unveils instax Pal 2 camera and Link WIDE 2 printer
Fujifilm has announced two new products in its instax lineup: the instax Pal 2 digital camera and the instax Link WIDE 2 smartphone printer, both scheduled for release in late September or early October 2026.
The instax Pal 2 is a compact, palm-sized digital camera featuring an upgraded 10-megapixel sensor, a 1-inch LCD screen, and a physical optical viewfinder. Designed with a retro, analog-inspired aesthetic, it includes a control dial and a film-advance-style lever. While it does not print photos directly, it allows users to capture images and transfer them via Bluetooth or USB Type-C to compatible instax printers or hybrid cameras. It also features an “instax Animation” mode that captures up to 10 frames to create flipbook-style videos.
The instax Link WIDE 2 is a successor to the 2021 Link WIDE printer, designed for the larger instax WIDE format. A key new feature is the “Photo Mixer” function within its dedicated app, which uses AI to automatically generate collage-style layouts from selected images. The printer also supports a “QR Print” mode, allowing users to embed scannable codes into physical prints that link to digital content like URLs or sound clips. The device is available in Duo Beige and Duo Blue color options.
