Fujifilm announces the Instax Pal 2 compact digital camera
Fujifilm has announced the Instax Pal 2, a palm-sized digital camera designed to complement the Instax Link printer series. Weighing approximately 41g, the device features a 10MP sensor, a 28mm-equivalent f/2.2 lens, autofocus, and a built-in flash.
Unlike traditional instant cameras, the Pal 2 does not print photos directly. Instead, it functions as a compact digital camera that can send images to a smartphone or work with standalone Instax Link printers. The updated design includes a small optical viewfinder located on the top of the device, a physical shutter button, a command dial, and a functional lever.
The camera offers various creative modes, including the ability to switch between Mini, Square, Wide, and No Frame shooting formats via the lever. Users can also access 30 different photographic effects through five themes loaded via the Instax Pal app. Additionally, an Instax Animation mode allows for capturing bursts of up to 10 images to create short animations.
