Fujifilm instax Mini Evo Cinema named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026

Fujifilm Corporation’s instax Mini Evo Cinema™ hybrid instant camera has been selected as one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026 in the Consumer Electronics category. The device blends analog and digital experiences, allowing users to capture both still images and videos. A unique feature enables users to “hand over a video” by converting video data into a QR code paired with a still image print.

The camera includes an “Eras Dial™” offering 10 different effects inspired by various eras, such as a 1960s 8mm film style, with 10 adjustable levels for each. This marks the second consecutive year Fujifilm has appeared on the TIME Best Inventions list, following the selection of the instax WIDE Evo™ in 2025.
