Fujifilm launches HX1024 Printbar System for construction materials
FUJIFILM Integrated Inkjet Solutions has introduced the HX1024 Printbar System, a high-speed, full-color digital inkjet printing solution designed for construction and building materials. The system is intended for use on products such as house wrap, sandpaper, drywall, and laminates.
The HX1024 is available in 30-inch and 40-inch print widths, supporting single-pass printing at 400 dpi resolution. It can reach print speeds of up to 500 feet per minute (152.4 meters per minute). The system utilizes LED-curable UV inks and LED lamps to reduce heat and energy consumption compared to traditional mercury-based lamps.
According to Ankur Mour, vice president and general manager of FUJIFILM Integrated Inkjet Solutions, the system enables on-demand printing to help manufacturers meet customization demands, local language or regulatory requirements, and product serialization for tracking.
