Fujii Kaze and UMI release collaborative digital EP ‘You’

Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze has released a new digital EP titled ‘You (feat. UMI)’, featuring a collaboration with Japanese-American R&B artist UMI. The project includes a new version of the track ‘You’, originally from Fujii Kaze’s third studio album, ‘Prema’.

UMI contributed new lyrics and vocals to the track, adding an R&B and soul influence to the original sound. Fujii Kaze praised the collaboration, describing UMI’s contribution as ‘divine’ and suggesting the music could transport listeners to a ‘Umiverse’.

The accompanying music video was filmed in Japan, featuring scenes set in a park and inside a Japanese local bus at night. The collaboration follows the artists' previous musical connection in Los Angeles in 2025.
