Fujii Kaze releases new ‘You’ EP featuring R&B artist UMI

Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze has released a new version of his hit song ‘You’, featuring R&B artist UMI. The collaboration, titled ‘You (feat. UMI)’, reimagines the track from his third studio album, ‘Prema’, with new lyrics and vocals written by UMI.

The release is part of the ‘You (feat. UMI) – EP’, which includes four tracks: the new version, an acapella version, an instrumental, and a newly recorded original version of ‘You’. The artists previously collaborated in Los Angeles in 2025 for the song ‘Michi Teyu Ku (Overflowing)’.

Fujii Kaze described the collaboration as a “divine work” that creates a “celestial” atmosphere, while UMI noted that the song reflects their shared belief in the power of music as a messenger of love.
