Fujisan Wood Toy Museum opens in Gotemba

The Fujisan Wood Toy Museum has opened in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture, located at the foot of Mount Fuji. The two-story facility is designed to showcase local nature and culture through various wooden play experiences.

Key attractions include the 'Fujisan Slide,' a massive wooden structure representing the mountain, and the 'Toy Town' area, which features role-playing corners such as an onigiri shop and a Western-style restaurant. Other features include a 'Gear Amusement Park' with a large mechanical marble run and a 'Pretend Farm' showcasing local agricultural products like grapes, blueberries, radishes, and wasabi.
