Fujisawa multi-vehicle collision leaves one in cardiac arrest

A multi-vehicle collision involving a bus, a taxi, and a passenger car occurred at an intersection in Honcho, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on the morning of October 19.

Emergency services transported between 13 and 14 people to hospitals following the crash. Reports indicate that one individual, a passenger in the car, was in a state of cardiac arrest. According to police, a passenger car reportedly struck two vehicles traveling in the opposite lane before entering the intersection and colliding with the rear of a bus.

Local police and fire departments are currently investigating the specific circumstances of the accident.
