Fujitsu Ladies golf tournament to expand to four days in Chiba

The Fujitsu Ladies women's professional golf tournament is scheduled to take place from October 15 to October 18 at the Tokyu Seven Hundred Club West Course in Chiba, Japan. This year, the tournament has transitioned to a four-day format, with the total prize money increased to 150 million yen from last year's 100 million yen.

Veteran golfer Shin Ji-yai, who recently secured permanent seed status after winning the Japan Women's Open and achieving a career total of 30 wins on the Japanese tour, will participate. Shin, who recently completed a lifetime Grand Slam by winning all four major domestic titles, discussed her strict dietary discipline, noting that she avoids dairy, raw vegetables, and wheat products to maintain her longevity in the sport.

Other notable players expected to compete include Ayaka Furue, Yui Kawamoto, Sora Kamiya, Yuna Araki, and Yuzuki Yoshizawa. The event will be broadcast and streamed via TV Asahi, BS Asahi, Sky A, and U-NEXT.
