Fujitsu launches proactive cyber defense security service
Fujitsu Limited has launched a new comprehensive security service designed to support active cyber defense, aimed at identifying signs of cyberattacks before they occur. The service, which commenced on September 25, 2026, integrates three core functions: dark web monitoring, attack surface management (ASM), and threat hunting.
Through a collaboration with KELA, the service utilizes threat intelligence from underground forums and attacker communities to monitor for leaked credentials and signs of targeting. The attack surface management component identifies publicly exposed assets to visualize vulnerabilities, while the threat hunting function employs white-hat hackers from the Uvance Wayfinders team to analyze monitoring data and cloud audit logs for threats that evade traditional detection.
Fujitsu experts analyze the risks identified by these functions to propose measures for preventing damage expansion and provide operational support. The company plans to advance the automation and sophistication of threat analysis using accumulated data and intends to integrate the service with the Cyber Security Nerve Center starting in October 2026 to provide continuous support during both routine and emergency periods.
